Dutch violinist and violist Laura Veeze has reached audiences on three continents as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. She has held Principal Second Violin positions with the Radio Chamber Philharmonic in the Netherlands and with Symphony Nova Scotia in Canada. In addition to her position with the First Violins of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, she is Concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton, and Principal Second Violin of the Alberta Baroque Ensemble.
As a chamber musician, Ms. Veeze is a founding member of the Garneau String Quartet, the quartet in residence at MacEwan University Conservatory, where they also direct the Chamber Music Academy. She is a frequent guest artist at festivals such as Music by the Sea, Great Lakes International Summer Music Institute, Summer Solstice Music Festival, Scotia Festival, Musique Royale, New Music Edmonton, Early Music Alberta, and the Acadia Summer Strings Festival.
Passionate about teaching, she has a small studio of violin students and mentors at the National Academy Orchestra and the Orchestre de la Francophonie.

Meran Currie-Roberts is a multi-talented artist who enjoys a successful career as a cellist, teacher, and administrator across Canada. Former Dean of the Manitoba Conservatory, she is a member of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton as well Executive Director of the Health Arts Society of Alberta, bringing hundreds of concerts to elders in care annually.
Meran made her solo debut with the Edmonton Symphony in 2020. As an orchestral player, she also frequently appeared with the Calgary Philharmonic and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestras and is sought-after by organizations including Jeunesses Musicales, Edmonton Recital Society, Festival of the Sound, Elora Festival, Summer Solstice Festival, and the Colorado Music Festival.
She received her B.Mus and M.Mus degrees from the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Shauna Rolston.
Sarah Ho is an accomplished Canadian pianist who grew up in Edmonton, Alberta and has performed internationally as a soloist and ensemble player.
Sarah has performed in notable venues and summer festivals around the world, including the Shubert Theatre on Broadway in New York, the Kennedy Center, the Banff Festival for the Arts, the National Arts Centre Young Artists Programme, the Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Weekend of Chamber Music in New York, and Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter in Denmark. Sarah also travelled to China with Edmonton’s WindRose Trio, where they became the first Canadians to perform at the Harbin Summer Music Festival in Harbin, China.
She has performed as a guest artist with orchestras in Canada including the Edmonton Symphony, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra, and also enjoys playing orchestral piano with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
A two-time winner of the Sir James Lougheed Award of Distinction from the Government of Alberta, Sarah holds degrees from Indiana University and Yale University, where she studied under renowned pianists Menahem Pressler and Claude Frank. In Edmonton, Sarah’s teachers included Wolfram Linnebach, Stéphane Lemelin, and Marek Jablonski.
She is a founding member and the Artistic Director of the Edmonton Recital Society, an organization she is passionately committed to. A dedicated teacher, Sarah is on the faculty of the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music, where her students have won prizes at the local and national levels.
Sarah currently resides in Edmonton, Canada with her husband Colin and their two sons, Markus and Sebastian. An avid runner, Sarah has completed 14 marathons, including the 2022 and 2023 Boston Marathons.
